Deacons (Bond of Blessed Brothers) Ministry                                                                                                               

Mission/Purpose Statement: To serve Christ as ordained officers of church membership accountability, along with their pastor, by being peacekeepers, advisors, BRANCH coaches, and caretakers of Pilgrim Rest (Acts 6:1-8, I Timothy 3).   Deacons facilitate our baptism and Lord’s Supper ordinances, and funeralization and visitation programs.

Deaconess (Faith Family Foundation) Ministry                                                                  Mission/Purpose Statement: Under the headship of the pastor and chairman of deacons, the deaconess team will serve Christ by serving as assistants (not deacons) to the deacons (Romans 16:1-2, First Corinthians 11:1-3) and working with females of church as peacekeepers, coaches, and examples of holiness. 

 Trustee/Finance Ministry                                                                                                     

Mission/Purpose Statement: To support Pilgrim Rest by making properly authorized and quality business assessments and decisions (legal, land, financial, employment) that please God while providing and maintaining quarterly reports, itemized budgets, records of receipts, warranties, and a directory of reliable contractors/vendors, and sponsoring yearly workshops to keep church aware of her stewardship.

Secretarial Ministry TBA
Mission/Purpose Statement: To provide for the orderly reception, processing, approval, publication, distribution, and management of pertinent Pilgrim Rest communications and correspondence in a Christ-centered manner.

Website Ministry
Mission/Purpose Statement: Designed to promote the strategic, Christ-centered goals of Pilgrim Rest through technical publicity of information, inspiration, and institution.

Custodial/Maintenance Ministry (Support Ministry)
Mission/Purpose Statement: To keep God’s property managed by Pilgrim Rest clean, decent and orderly with environment safe materials and a cheerful, prayerful smile.

Calendar Ministry TBA
Mission/Purpose Statement: To insure that events authorized by pastor are properly and regularly noted on an official Pilgrim Rest calendar, distributed for all interested persons.

Associational Ministry TBA (Support Ministry) 

Mission/Purpose Statement: To engage with some of our sister Christian congregations in fellowship and discipleship to God’s glory.
